Let Sleeping Dragons Lie
0 ReviewsThis is a 100 word Fruits Basket drabble. The challenge was "Sleep". Hatori's POV while he naps at the Sohma summer home by the lake.
Warm and so very comfortable, Hatori felt like he was wrapped in a loving embrace. Although he was sleeping, he knew she was there. It had been ages since he'd felt so cherished, and so loved. Funny, though, wasn't she a married woman now? He drove the unwelcome thought from his consciousness, instead trying to focus on the way he felt now. Unfortunately, a persistent noise began dragging him quite unwillingly into wakefulness. Finally, his eyes snapped open, and he struck at the obvious source of the irritation.
"I thought I told you not to bother people too much, Ayame!"
