Just thought I'd write this earlier this year.

He hit me today
He'll hit me tomorrow
He hit me yesterday
over and over again

I'm raging inside
from what I see daily
There's nothing in the world like
getting beat again

The bruises are now fading
Purple and green and yellow
all covered up by
long sleeves, long skirts and jeans

As I grow older
I try to be better
Then one day I see
a hint of him inside of me

I don't like what I see
get it out of my mind & body
I am not a monster
Despite what I see before me

What lesson am I to learn?
How am I to stop this?
I have to start right now
A change is needed today

Thinking things through
I don't wanna be you
Somebody help me
get this out of me
The person I am
is new

I wrote most of this new years day then added some more to it and made a few changes. What do you think of the title? Does it fit? thanks =)
