Plant the seed and watch it grow
Beauty is one thing no one knows
Once it blooms, then cut it down
You can wear it as a deadly crown
Fill your courtyard with their presence
And leave the picking for the peasants
One little sniff and they chall fall
Let them grow up the entire wall
Once you pick them they can be of use
No bird would dare to drink it's bitter juice
Life is hard, you know it's true
Put them in the sickly brew
If at war its the perfect time
Call a truce and drink the wine
Now watch your enemy fall over dead
The stain on the floor is a hue of red
Lightning flashes and strikes the ground
Everyone's still, with out a sound
The lights went out and now ther're on
The Black Roses are now all gone.
