  Heh, he's got a Second Chance all right, both at love and at hate. I love the basic background for the transfer and agree with the basic philosophy, you need chaos and multiple choices for freedom, strict order leads to a thoroughly regimented society with serfs, not citizens; even a strong tendency toward order reduces innovation as life, by it's nature is messy while death is quite orderly.
  
  It's going to be interesting to follow his adventures in this new world he's adopted. I suspect he's going to shake up a lot of folk on all sides since he's got s distinctively different viewpoint.

  Interesting that your story is about returning "balance". Just, I had not really thought of Order as the opposite of Freedom of Choice.
  
  In almost every religion, even the most primitive, they say you need balance for the world to work properly.
  
  Damn, logical thinking has made my life easier. Even helped pull I, and my family together after a "real bad" head injury. Now I have to wonder what might happened if I had been more "imaginative" in my choices?.? (rocking neck) Maybe, even more (Chinese curse) "interesting"??
  
  Oh well, I want to say that I really enjoyed your deliberate AU. Well plotted, written and well worth the time to read.
