    Given the limitations of this story (it being a college project), I was actually interested by the tikbalang's treachery in the first half. Unfortunately, I thought the ending could have used more work... it just sort of ended. Jarring, to say the least, particularly since you had that scene with Carson. Maybe I was expecting a happier ending or something... but it just felt sudden.
