  This is a simple little fic with a homey sort of feeling to it. The scene you describe sounds both comfortable and sexy. I like the way the strawberries have a private symbology for the lovers.
  
  Of course the last two paragraphs are devastating in the face of the rest of the story. It is a quiet calm kind of devastation somehow, just a sense of hopelessness.
  
  It makes the Turks just seem very human because this could almost happen to any two lovers.

  This is just effing gorgeous in such a wonderfully, horribly angsty way... the skill with which you built up the sweetness and then shattered it all to blazes was just breathtaking.
  
  Can you be talked into a similar piece for Tseng learning what has happened to Rufus while he's been presumed dead? Please?? :)
