  Yeah, that title, "To Grow Weary", works quite well for this story. It's a rather chilling little one-shot with Harry & Hermione surviving when all the Weasleys and, apparently, most of their friends didn't and with the measures they seemed to have found necessary to survive and win.

  For a piece of, as you said, drunken profoundness, it was bloody good. I have a thing for stream-of-progression poetry, and this piece is now copied onto my backup drive. The weariness (yes, i got it too) was excellently portrayed, and the utter devastation of their worlds and persons were ...chilling.
  
  Gods, i wish i was that poetic in my ramblings.
