Peaches was bored.
It was a Tuesday,
"not even half way through the bloody week" she thought in despair.
Usually she went to lunch with her three friends Pippa, Emily and Jimbob. But today, Pippa had left her and gone off with another one of her friends, Bryony. And Emily and Jimbob had gone off together. Peaches sighed, she's known ever since the beginning of the school year Emily and Jimbob suited each other. They both looked the same, pale with long purple and black hair (Yes Jimbob is a boy). It was January now, and they were finally "sort of" together. I'd say sort of because both of them were planning on telling each other how they felt any time soon, they were both too shy.
So now Peaches was sat in her ancient school library, bored, reading some tattered unintresting book she's picked off a random shelf which had looked slightly good at the time. She took a seat in the corner, and half reading the book, she pondered over some thoughts she'd been thinking lately.
Mostly about Emily and Jimbob. She liked Emily, I guess. Well she had started hanging around with Pippa and her, and it was obvious since the first meeting that Jimbob fancied her. Jimbob was in the year above Peaches, she didn't fancy him, never had done, never would. Yet, lately he'd been hanging around with Emily a lot more then with her. She kept getting jelouse and she didn't even know what she was jelouse about. It made things worse that last year, Jimbob and her always walked home together because they lived near on the same street. But now all he'd do after school is stand and chat to Emily. Not that they even talked, just stood there, in some sort of content silence. Peaches didn't understand...she thought they were both being stupid. Half of her felt happy, that Jimbob was happy. But the other half of her felt as if she wanted to drive Emily of into a landfill, and dump her there forever.
And now they had gone and abandoned her to go off and eat their repugnant lukewarm lunch together in stupid silence. Peaches wanted to punch the chair. Plus she had sport this afternoon, she didn't like sport much. Especially not on an empty tummy.
She was pissed off...but still couldn't decide if to approach the sunject with Jimbob or not....
