Sprinkle a healthy does of mental disorder in with some very....stretched realities (even in Harry Potter terms) and these are the situations we are granted.

    Thanks for writing,
    Matt

    Author's response

    - Hey, as long as I'm taking my meds, I'm relatively ok... Though they won't let me have sharp objects... Bastards.

    - and what's the point of a reality if you can't stretch it?

Dumbledore deserves to die by the cruciatus for defending rapist scum. The rapists themselves can die by gelding.

Albus just is building is gallows higher and higher, isn't he?

    Author's response

    - Hey now, it's for the greater good.

I wonder if a little poetic justice is in order. Some sort of over dosing of potion that Dumbledore knows will mess up his mind?

Hmmm, maybe the "Dark Lord" mentioned in the prophecy isn't Voldemort but Dumbledore instead. Dumbledore has Voldemort beat in the evil category already when this fic started, but seriously outclassed him as soon as he defended the rapists and their actions. He wasn't even disgusted when he learned of what Snape did, only worried about their reputations being destroyed.

Looking forward to the next update!

    Author's response

    - That's one way of looking at it I guess. I just hope that I don't tic too many people off with my final resolution to the Tommy problem...

In situations like this, I truely wonder why Harry doesn't stoop to assination. I don't see the benefits of keeping either Dumbledore or Snape alive, vs arranging for an accident.

I have to wonder what lengths Dumbledore will go to protect Snape and the Slytherins. Is he going to do a little obliviation to stop the investigation? Some other means of control? I've been expecting him to go down hard, but he keeps withstanding everything. Hence my earlier question on why they don't just deal directly with the problem.

    Author's response

    - In an early draft of the plot, that's exactly what happened... a series of 'accidents'.

    - Then I decided I decided that I was going to attempt a Harry story in which Harry doesn't kill anyone. Not even Tommy.

The Dumbledore in this particular universe isn't a master of the obvious, is he? Or is he so powerful that he really has not problem going up against uber-Harry?
Looking forward to the next thrilling chapter.
    N!

    Author's response

    - Dumbles has been the top dog so long he believes his own press. Harry's going to use the rules Dumbles holds so dear to destroy the old fraud.
