"Davey, I'm not so sure about this..."

"Don't be so afraid. It's fine. Not like something's going to come get you..." Davey flashed Jade a evil grin as they walked through the cemetery, receiving a gulp from Jade. Davey let out a chuckle and continued walking.

"You suck, Davey." Jade grumbled a he followed.

"You know for a fact that I do not suck. I swallow."

"Too much information!"

"Oh shut up, Puget. Goodness, you take everything so literally..."

"What are we here for again?"

"I swear, you are such an old man..." Davey looked back at him, brown eyes shining in the moonlight. "There's a legend about this cemetery. In the early 1800s, a woman named Alice Carson was staked in the heart because they believed she was a vampire. Just before she died, she swore to have revenge on the people that persecuted her. Now, every Halloween, she comes back from the grave to reak havoc on this town."

"You like living in your little fantasy world, don't you?"

"Yes. Yes I do."

Davey stepped on a twig, and Jade screamed, grabbing Davey's arm.

"Will you calm down?!" Davey pulled his arm away. "I highly doubt anything will happen. All of these myths are a hoax..."

From the corner of his eye, Davey saw a shadow pass by.
Jade screamed.

"Since when are you scared of a graveyard?"

"Since there's a possibility of getting eaten in one!"

"Vampires don't eat people, they suck blood."

"How is that better?!"

"Jade, I swear, you are such a..." The smile he had on his face faded when he saw Jade. "Are you... shivering?"

"N-n-no..."

Davey rolled his eyes, and took off his jacket. He held it out to Jade.

"Davey?"

"Take the jacket before I change my mind."

Jade took the jacket and slipped it on. "Thanks,"

"Mhmm."

Something screamed.

Davey jumped a little, and Jade clung to him.

"Davey, I don't like this..."

"It's just some kids trying to fuck with us. Calm down..."

Then they saw her.

It was a woman, looking of 20 years old. She had long, flowing hair and red eyes. She was covered in blood, and he face was twisted in a look of surprise and horror. She screamed again.

"Just stay calm...it's okay..." Davey said.

"How about we calmly RUN?!" Jade said.

"...I like your idea better." They both ran off in the opposite direction.

"'There's no way it could be real.' you said... 'She's just a hoax.' you said..." Jade yelled.

"Just shut up and KEEP RUNNING!" Davey tripped on a root and fell to the ground.

Jade stopped and ran back to him.

Davey was grabbing his ankle and groaning. "Damn it!"

"Davey, come on! We have to keep moving!"

"I can't! It hurts..."

The creature was coming closer.

Jade looked from Davey to the creature.

The creature was a couple feet away.

Jade put his arms around Davey. "You can hurt me, just leave him alone!"

"Jade, what the f-"

Then Jade put his lips to Davey's.

Jade quickly pulled away. "I love you." He stood up to confront the monster. "Have at you!"

"I...have autograph, yes?"

"Excuse me?"

"I...have autograph?" The girl smiled and held out a piece of paper and pen to Jade.

"You want an autograph?"

The girl nodded.

The tension ceased, and they both gave her autographs.

As they were leaving the cemetery, Davey looked at Jade and said, "What was that about?"

"What?"

"That kiss."

"Oh...that. I was just acting on impulse. I'm sorry."

There was a silence.

"Did you mean it?"

"Mean what?"

"You said you love me..."

Jade blushed. "I...yeah, I did. I'm sorry..."

"Why do you keep apologizing?"

"I know you don't like me. I'm just wasting my time..."

"How would you know if you never asked?"

Jade looked at him. "Do you?"

Davey stayed quiet.

"That's a no..."

Davey took his face in his hands. He stood on his tiptoes and kissed him.

Jade froze for a moment, then wrapped his arms around his waist.

Davey pulled away and smiled. "Did that seem like a no?"

Jade shook his head and smiled.

They laced fingers with each other and continued walking.

"Happy Halloween, Jade."

"Best Halloween ever."
