This story is very bittersweet.I like the simplicity of the scene and the strength of Fujin's emotional response to it.
Fujin's matter of fact inner voice is very interesting. I like the tone of her thoughts. It seems to work well with her character. And I can believe that Fujin might like Quistic this way. I can see her admiring the differences between the two of them.
I like the way that Fujin holds back from doing anything. That is realistic as well. It's a lovely short little character study.
