You say that you love me, and then you push me aside
Brag about how you are free
As soon as I touch you, you kiss me with lust
You say you only have eyes for me
I actually believed you, once upon a time,
I told all my friends that you were all mine
But then you cheated; told a whole string of lies
And I stuck by your side
Everyone asked why, and I simply said
“If I am not with him, I’m better off dead”
But something inside me changed last night
When I saw you for whom you truly are:
A lying, cheating bastard, who got the better of me
But I must condemn this once more
For I love you, but I also hate you
Love without hate, hate without love
Let’s just live our lives as “friends”
For that is all I am to anyone
Just a friend
