That Butterfly Was You

A butterfly
rests peacefully
in the garden
outside.
its time there, however little,
spread a warmth
through that tiny flower budon which it so delicately
perched.
And then,
too soon i think,
the butterfly flew away;
and when it flew,
that bud,
it bloomed,
and the flower was
Blue
