  That was quite an introductory chapter and it starts a number of interesting threads. It's prety likely that Harry wasn't killed, "only" rather injured (nothing wizarding medicine can't fix fairly promptly, but still...) and it's clear that Ginny is not going to play Penelope to Harry's Odessyus. Too, it will be interesting to see if that Obliviate worked like it was supposed to.
  
  All in all, this is an excellent first chapter that clearly draws the reader into the story and I'm quite looking forward to more.

  Sorry to have to tell you this but Harry's taking a dirt nap. It's rather tough to bounce back from being gutshot with a shotgun and wrapped up in dropclothes.

  Wow, that was a shocker of a first chapter, to say the least, and will definitely look forward to the next part. Harry made a lot of good points, and will be interesting to see if Ginny just sits back and waits like she seemed to do a lot of in the last book, imo, or if she's gonna take some charge? Can't wait to see what happens with Harry, the Dursley's and the gang.

  I think this is an interesting start to a story. Of course, since 'either must die at the hand of the other', it means that he can't have died. However, you've stated that Harry's having a 'dirt nap'. So... Necromancy?

  Dnag who knew they could be so totaly vile. I guess they decided a little cold blooded murder sat just fine with them. Sad really, great chapter can't wait to read what happens next.

  its a good start but will have to wait and see how it proceeds. for all the hype in the cannon about slytherins and cunning they seem to possess none of it.Ginny or any of the other characters like harry,ron or hermione being good fighters is a debatable issue.harry for one is a damn lucky idiot.
  looking forward to read some more original stuff like this.
  hope the characters in your fic have what the cannon lacked sorely ie,common sense...try different allies,ships,methods and whatever else your mind can come up with
  
  an organised group with proper weapons can take out voldie easily...
  
  the main issue in canon was that all action was confined to the UK...do you think that none of the other countries in the world have never faced dork lord problems...that part of potterverse along with some other stuff was just pure dumb
