  Kefka remains my favorite FF villain. While you've painted him with a bit more sanity than I ever gave him credit for, I like your take on the Doma invasion and the real reason for poor Leo's dismissal. Kudos, as usual, Wally.

  nods I'm not sure how I see Kefka, really. He's mad, but I think there's some method in his madness, or something like that, and that he loves being thought totally nutty because it makes people underestimate him. Anyway, thanks for the kudos.

  As the first story I've read since registering on this site, this makes me happy.
  
  This was so well done. I loved just how much Kefka loved fire, something I don't think many people caught on to. He's so absolutely insane, but his reasoning is sound, and very cold and calculating.
