Dear friend,
Are you doing this deliberately?
You’re too close
(I hear your heart)
Please prove that history doesn’t always repeat itself
(Be the exception to the rule)
Please be the first to pass
(Can you ace my test, pretty please?)
Or I have no choice but to change back
(Am I writing a poem here?)
(Hey, I think I am)
This is a poem for you
(But you might get a big head)
(Or run)
(Or laugh)
I like parentheses
