“Haaaayleeeeeey…” Pete whined from downstairs

“What do you want Peter?”

“You know that band I was telling you about”

“Yes Pete?”

“Well, I was wondering if you’d wanna come today and check them out with me, so I don’t have to be all alone?”

I could practically hear the pout in his voice, I stood up and made my down the stairs, pulling an Alkaline Trio over my head as I went. Just as I thought he was stood at the foot of the stairs pouting like a five year old, puppy dog eyes and all. I walked straight past him, grabbing my bag and opening the door, motioning to the door with my head, sending a squealing Pete bounding out the door. Clambering into the passenger seat I spent the ride to, wherever the hell it was Pete was taking me staring out the window, listening to Pete ramble about how he owed me for this, and most likely about all the things he wanted us to do when we got home, I just zoned him out, I could listen to Pete Wentz being a horny bastard whenever I wanted.

As we drove past the neat suburban houses and trim gardens, all of it seemed strangely familiar, but I couldn’t quite identify from where. I shrugged the thought off and turned back around to Pete as he smiled at me babbling excitedly about how we were almost we were almost there and how I was just going to love these guys and how if he was gay he would so do the lead singer, I chose to ignore that one. He pulled into a drive way, getting out and knocking on the garage door,
“Nicely cliché” I thought

The garage door slid up, revealing a boy who looked about my age with messy dark brown hair, big chocolate brown eyes framed by thick red glasses and full pouty lips. This must have been the guy Pete was on about, Lush Lips nodded, siling even if he was straight I still felt threatened by this guy, he was absolutely gorgeous. I stepped out of the car and followed Pete into the garage. I looked around, there were amps microphones and various instruments scattered around the room. A surly looking guy sat on the sofa and looked up at me as I entered, rolling his eyes and looking down again, this guy was officially creepy. Pete cleared his throat

“Brent, Brendon, this is my wife, Hayley. Hay, meet Brent,”

He gestured towards the creepy guy on the sofa

“And Brendon”

Pete nodded towards Lush Lips who smiled and hugged me, nodding and giggling. This boy was nervous as hell that much was obvious; it was sweet as hell though. He mumbled a Hi and looked down at his shoes. I resisted the temptation to pat him on the head, and instead looked up at the boy who’d just entered the room. He had light brown hair that fell onto his eye on one side, and was slightly chubby in a cute way. I couldn’t help but wonder why I found this boy so familiar.

“Hayley, this is Spencer. Spence, this is Hayley.

The boy smiled, and hid behind his hair. Then it hit me. I felt faint, and sat down nervously on the edge of the sofa. I told myself I had nothing to worry about. That he wouldn’t be here, that everything was fine. Pete sat next to me, worry etched across his beautiful features. I smiled at him, assuring him I was fine. I felt another pair of eyes on me, and looked up. A pair of honey golden eyes I knew all to well met with mine.

“Hay, this is Ryan…”

Pete continued speaking, but I wasn’t around to hear t, I had stood up and bolted straight out of the garage. A thousand thoughts and emotions ran through my head, and ran in tears down my face.

Why was this happening now?
