Would Ms. Pomfrey even have a muggle med like merchurochrome?

With direct quotes, you should start a new paragraph for each new speaker.

Oh, Harry! Wear your gloves! It's the first thing they teach in Chemlab.

I get it! Snape put a tripping hex and some goo on the floor. He really did poison Harry and the belladonna mix is the antidote.

Amusing. I can see Snape making such a case to Dumbledore. The ending ties together very well.

Author\'s Response: Thanks for taking the time to review, and thanks also for the grammar tip.About the merchurochrome, I'm sure you're right. I doubt that Madam Pomfrey would have any. However, I'm working on the assumption that Harry, being raised by Muggles, wouldn't be overly familiar with magical antiseptics. And, yes, Snape absolutely poisoned Harry. ^_^
