Chapter one- Blue and Way

"Earth to Blue, earth to Blue."

I snapped my eyes when I heard that annoying voice speak, no one ever calls me Blue, only the bastard does. Damn I had fallen asleep while sitting on his bunk, I was so tired, I needed sleep. My blues met his hazels and I could see they were twinkling again with amusement, that's what happens every time he annoys the shit of me, and it's not a hard job for him coz all he has to do is look at me and KA-BOOM, the bomb explodes and I'm annoyed, damn that one hell of a bastard.

"Shit you look exhausted," he said with a little chuckle.

"Wow, thanks," I said sarcastically while rolling my eyes at him. I stood up from his bunk and began walking towards the kitchen area to make myself some coffee, My Chemical Romance would have a concert an hour later and I have to redo their make-up, well retouch actually. I've been their make-up artist ever since the half of Three Cheers, when Alicia and Mikey became a couple. Alicia was my best friend and she recommended me, to help me start a new life.

Ever since Gerard and I met each other we couldn't stand each other, I dunno we were meant to clash and lash out at each other verbally. He was always getting on my nerves, I really don't understand why I'm the only one he treats that way. To everybody else he's nice and kind, and I get the I'll-make-you-wish-you-weren't-born treatment. I hated the shit out of him, but I couldn't really resign coz this is my new life, Alicia was my best friend, I love the others, and I want to keep myself busy.

Back to Gerard, he calls me Blue, because my eyes are blue and I hate it. It makes me think of this boyband Blue, damn. I've told him several times to call me by my name—Lacey, coz I hate what he calls me, but then it just made him get more amused with himself. And Alicia, who was supposed to be on my side, doesn't do anything when Gerard and I snap at each other, she just sits back and watches in laughter like the others. They would constantly tease us too, which angered me even more.

My odium for Gerard was innate, I can't explain why but the first moment I had laid eyes on him and caught a glance of his smirk I knew I wouldn't like him. Sometimes I wish he'd be gone in my life. Maybe when I get a cake for my next birthday I would wish for that to happen.

"So what's up, besides being a meanie?" he asked, sitting on his bunk and looking at me. I got a chance to glance at him and irritate myself by seeing his hazels, black hair, pale face, and that annoying expression on his effing face.

"Oh the usual. Wishing I had never ever known you," I said casually.

"Tsk, a real meanie. Hey Blue be kind enough and make me a coffee as well," he ordered. Another thing I hated about him besides being so smug, he loved ordering me around. Blue make me coffee, Blue do this, Blue do that. Damn. Mostly what he was asking me to do was only for him. Well I was not his effing P.A. but he sure as hell treats me like one!

"Why don't you get your ass up and make your own coffee," I said dryly.

"Ohhh Blue doesn't want to make me a coffee, I won't be able to perform well later, she's being a meanie again," he said.

I spoke through gritted teeth, "Stop acting like a child dumb ass, stop saying meanie, stop ordering me around and go make your own coffee."

"It's just a coffee, why are you getting so angry about it?" he asked.

"I'm not your P.A. in case you don't know. I'm only your make-up artist," I said.

"C'mon, just make me a fucking coffee. Is that too much to ask?" he asked again.

"No I will not make you a coffee and yes it is too much to ask from me," I said firmly.

Brian, who was coming in the bus by then and heard our exchange, spoke before Gerard could. "Gerard stop annoying her, give her a break you're not the only one who needs it, Lacey excuse him and please make him a coffee as well," he said.

Gerard looked at me with a victorious smile on his face, I frowned but said nothing more, of course I followed Brian, I liked him and he was nice. He was very nice and friendly to me and he was such a hands-on manager.

When I was done making coffee I took Gerard's cup and walked it over to him, I actually wanted to spill it "accidentally" on him but they were gonna have a concert so some other time maybe.

He didn't say thanks of course, he just took it and silently made his way outside. Sometimes Gerard really weirded me out, he was gonna be obnoxious to me the first minute, the next he'd go all quiet and sentimental. It was a bit hard bearing with his personality but I was trying, I was really trying.

"Give him a chance, he's not really bad," Brian told me.

"Yeah, right," I scoffed. "Tell that to his fans or someone not me. He's always like that around me, I hate him! It's a good thing I love this job!"

He smiled at me, "How does that saying go again? The more you hate…"

"It doesn't apply on us. Turn the world upside down and I will still hate that asshole," I quickly interjected, I hated hearing them pair us off.

"Don't talk so sure Lacey, strange things happen," he said with a shrug.

I chose to ignore his remark; "Where are the others?"

"Sound check, they're gonna be here soon," he replied. "Man you look tired. Pretty but tired. You should go get some rest later," he said looking at me.

I wasn't really sure if I was pretty; I had white skin, blue eyes, slender body, and pink lips. My hair had always been brown but six months ago I dyed it jet-black with some electric blue streaks to match my eyes. I don't really have something "special" about me, most of the times I think I'm plain. But it's better to be plain than a real wildcat, I shivered suddenly. Stop. Don't go back.

Zoning back I said, "I really hope I will. Maybe I should switch bunks with Frank or Bob," I said. My bunk was, unfortunately, on top of Gerard's.

"I won't tell you we could work on that, because you've always been meant to be on top of Gerard," he said, gosh it sounded like…eew!

I fake puked then exclaimed, "God Brian, don't ever say that again!"

He laughed at me. "OK, chill, I was kidding. I'll give you a break," he said.

"Thank God!"

After the concert the girls dragged me backstage. They consisted of Alicia, Mikey's wife and my best friend; Jamia, Frank's wife; Kaitlin, Bob's girlfriend, and Christa, Ray's girlfriend. Among the group only Gerard and I weren't a pair, and we were both single that's why they pair us off.

It was quite ridiculous how after every concert the girls get cozy with their men while Gerard and I go all snappy with each other, exchanging witty and annoying comebacks. The weird thing was he never got tired fighting with me, and most of the times I would get tired and would want to let him be but he was so annoying and I couldn't control myself from always retorting to everything he starts.

I opened the door backstage and was about to go in when I was met with a crash, I collided with someone. I fell on my butt, but the one I bumped was standing.

"Ow," I groaned painfully. I looked up and saw a pair of hazel eyes looking down on me. Damn, I should have known, it was the devil.

"Oh, terrible crash, tsk! You OK?" he asked, outstretching a hand towards me. I caught the smirk in his face.

Glaring at him I ignored his hand and helped myself up, "I don't need any of your help. I can take care of myself."

"You could've just said thanks you know," he said.

"Thanks for what? Colliding with me?" I snapped.

"I offered to help you stand up yet you didn't take my help, and whoa, you even have the nerve to yell at me like that," he said.

"I'm not yelling!" I yelled. "And I don't want you to help me!"

"This is really not a good place to fight," he said.

"What, afraid your fans will see you for what you truly are, an arrogant, scheming beast with all the qualities of an annoying asshole?" I said with a smirk.

"No I'm just afraid they'd go here and lash out at you for saying things about me," he retorted. "But don't get your hopes up too high, I don't care about you, I just don't want violence. I'm only being nice, showing you that even though you're like a bitch to me I'm still the nice gentleman."

"Gentleman? Don't you think you're ruining the word by using it to describe yourself?" I snapped. "Oh wait, I should've just said it like a fact because it is one: you're ruining the word by using it to describe yourself!"

"I don't really understand why you go all bitchy when you're around me, maybe it's your way of saying you love me or what?" he said smugly.

"Oh those crazy teenagers might have the hots for you but I'm not a teenager and maybe if I was I still wouldn't fall for, nor idolize, a beast like yourself. Right I didn't even use the word 'man', because let's face it, you're not a man," I said.

"Yeah I'm not, I'm a god," he said smugly.

"Know what? Fuck you," I spat out at him.

"Do you even know how to fuck?" he asked with a smirk.

"Gosh you…you cad!" I snapped.

"What, have I done something again?" he asked, still that smirk.

"Oh I do know how to fuck all right, but I would be doing the negative one on you," I said.

"That's fine coz I don't think you can do the 'positive' one," he said using air quotes. "Why? Coz you've got something else going on right there."

He pointed at my woman business, I blushed and slapped his finger away. "Do that again, and I swear I'll kill you!" I exclaimed.

"I didn't touch it!" he said, throwing his hands up. "God! Fucked-up psycho!"

I hit his forehead with the back of my hand, but not too hard. The good thing was, he doesn't hit me back. Well he sure shouldn't or I would kill him!

"Ouch!" he exclaimed. "That was so uncalled for!"

"Better shut your mouth before I hit you in your 'man' business," I said using air quotes.

"Aw, baby," he cooed, "just tell me if you wanna touch it. I'll let you."

"You are soooo fucked up, Way," I said disgustedly, shaking my head. I turned around and began to walk away, damn I couldn't stay here.

"Aw baby don't weave me avone," he said sweetly, I rolled my eyes.

"Get real, asshole," I scoffed.

"Please do get hit by a bus or something!" he called after me, using his naturally annoying voice. I turned around and gave him an evil look, he smirked at me before going backstage. Damn asshole, why do I let him get to me? I walked away, my heart swelling up with hatred for that effing beast Gerard Fucking Way.
