Chapter four- A vision

I stood in front of the mirror inside the bus, applying eyeliner on myself. I had just finished applying make-up on the boys, they were having a show tonight. Me and Alicia were still in the bus, she was still undressed, only had her robe on.

"Hey what do you think would make me look not preggy?" she asked, looking for something to wear.

Her question surprised me, I quickly looked at her. "Why are you pregnant or something?" I asked.

She gave me a weird look, "No, it's just that lots of people think I'm pregnant and I want them to stop thinking because I might want to reconsider and suddenly jump on Mikey while he's playing on the stage."

I laughed, "Damn I thought you were pregnant, I was gonna go mad because you didn't tell me right away."

"OK enough of that, now what should I wear?" she asked.

"Hmm…this one." I walked towards her and took her fitted black Call of the Zombie shirt. I loved that one, it had this print about it that read, "Remember…you can only die once!" Besides, it was fitted.

"OK." She took it from me. "Thanks. I love it. I love you." She pecked my cheek and walked to the bathroom, and began dressing as I faced the mirror again. Moments later she was done and I was finished as well. We were about to go out when the bus door opened and a scowling Gerard entered. His face was soaked, his make-up was ruined.

"What did you do?" My temper flared up.

"I didn't do anything! It was Frank's fault, he was drinking water and he squirted it all right here," he said pointing at his face, frowning like a 5-year-old. Behind me Alicia stifled a giggle.

"Why did he squirt it on your face?" she asked.

"He was looking at me," Gerard said looking at her then fixed his gaze back to me, "because we were having fun and I made a joke."

I rolled my eyes and Alicia let herself giggle. "And you're saying you didn't do anything and it was Frank's fault," I said getting my kit, "Get over here and I'll fix it."

"I think I have to go," said Alicia as she began to walk towards the door.

"What you're gonna leave me here alone?" I asked, I almost can't believe it. Almost.

"Well Gerard's here," she said with a shrug. I gave her my evil eye, she was up to something. She laughed. "Oh babe I am not up to something. See you later. Good luck with that." She smirked at Gerard then walked out.

Gerard quietly sat on a stool and faced me. I moved towards him and after wiping his face with a towel I began applying foundation, just the right amount. His face was too pale.

I didn't know why but that night I felt so weird, he was gazing at me the whole time and I was kind of getting freaked out coz he wasn't saying anything. I decided to make talk, more like make fight actually because we never really just "talk", though I knew I would just get annoyed and probably lose to him.

"I didn't do anything, it was Frank's fault," I imitated his words, trying to sound like him.

It made him smile. "I don't sound like that," he said.

"Good, I don't want to think that by being around you I'm adapting your voice and manners," I said. He didn't reply, he kept quiet until I finished. It was really getting odd.

Suddenly I felt like we were too close. The atmosphere was eerie, it was as if something unlikely was bound to happen. Gosh I hope I'm not psychic, I hope I'm wrong!

I finished it faster than I'd expected, fortunately. "There," I said as I stood straight, "we better go to…oh!"

I was suddenly surprised as he stood up and pulled me to him I one swift movement. Our faces were so close again, and damn, I was trembling. The next thing I knew his lips were claiming mine, his hand rested on my back, the other holding my jaw.

"Are you just gonna stand there?" I heard Gerard's voice cut in. I jumped a bit due to shock, and I found him sitting on the stool, looking at me irritatingly. Wow I sure have one hell of an imagination! Damn I'm losing my mind! Did I just think of kissing Gerard? What's happening to me?!

I hit my head a bit, quickly wishing I hadn't because I was hurt. "Oww," I muttered.

"You hit yourself then you say oww, gosh you're pathetic," he said.

Yeah I'm pathetic all right. But this is now reality, and in reality, I HATE you.

"Aren't you gonna talk, well if you are not gonna say some bullshit just go fix my face!" he exclaimed impatiently.

I finally found my voice, "I'm sorry but your face cannot be fixed. It's too thick."

He rolled his eyes. "Come on, it's your job. Just do it, I don't wanna get stuck here with you for ages."

"Don't worry, the feeling's mutual!" I said, practically yelled actually.

"I'm not worrying!" he snapped back. I just glared at him as I grabbed a towel and roughly wiped his face, I guess he got hurt a bit coz he made sounds and pushed my hand away, "Come on you're hurting me!"

"Well you've got an attitude," I snapped. "Fucking vision," I added in a low voice.

"What vision?" he asked. "You have visions?"

"Yeah it was about you." The words slipped out and I quickly bit my lip. I added quickly, "You were killing me and torturing me here in this very bus."

He rolled his eyes, "Fuck you."

"Fuck yourself," I snapped back.

"Know what I don't care about whatever visions you have, just do your job and do it softly, not like you're going to kill me by just applying make-up on me," he said.

"I have always thought how you can kill someone with just applying make-up on them," I said. "Know why? So I could kill you while doing my job."

"Is killing me one of your dreams?" he asked without blinking.

"How did you guess? You read my diary?" I pretended to look shocked.

"You don't have a diary," he snapped.

"Oh then I guess I'm just too obvious aren't I?" I asked.

He sighed, "OK I didn't come here to fight, I just wanted to have my make-up redone."

"You shouldn't have ruined it," I said.

"What would it take you to just shut the hell up and redo my make-up?" he asked after another sigh.

"Why, can't you perform without make-up? Why, because fans won't swoon over you and being the great, conceited, egomaniac creature as you are you wouldn't be able to stand it?" I asked sweetly.

I could see he wanted so badly to stand up and walk away but he just sat there glaring at me. Well I was right wasn't I, why someone can't perform without make-up? That's just bullshit, why does things have to go that way with stars? Common people go on with their life every single day and most of them don't even apply make-up, or if they do they don't ask somebody else to do it for them, they do it themselves! Oh fuck, I'm crazy…

"The door is open, and even if it's not you're strong enough to open it," I said after a few moments.

He took a second to close his eyes and sigh, then he opened his eyes again and looked at me. "I'm sorry," he said in a barely audible voice.

"Excuse me?" I blinked, I couldn't believe it.

"I'm sorry, please do my make-up," he said through gritted teeth. Regaining my composure I laughed and grabbed the foundation.

As I applied foundation on him he was looking down, as if he didn't want to make eyes with me. Well that was cool with me, coz I didn't want my vision to happen.

When I was done he walked away without saying thanks. I sighed as I fixed the kit. Then I saw him stop walking. He turned to look at me and I looked back at him, waiting for his thank you or anything.

"This is the first and last time that's ever gonna happen," he said. "You're crazy tonight, real crazy, you freaked me out." Then he walked out.

I closed my eyes the moment the door closed, trying to control my anger. I never thought you could lose good manners that easily! But wait, how can he lose something he never had? His I'm-sorry-please-do-my-make-up was just some shit he had to put up with so I would do his make-up! And hello, am I only the one who freaks someone out?! He sure as hell freaked me out with that effing vision!

My thoughts drew back to the vision I had and it sent chills down my spine. What did it mean? Was it actually gonna happen? Am I getting crazy? Do I like Gerard? Hell no! I shook my head. Now there were two things I should avoid remembering: my past, and that damn vision.
