Tenten just wanted to bake some cupcakes really. Then Neji got involvled. (Was he involved in the first place?) Go figure.

Tenten threw an orange at Neji's head. He luckily ducked out of the way.
"I can't believe it! I set you up with my cousin and what do you do? You go and break her heart! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?" Neji winced as some orange juice squirted into his delicate white eyes.
"I told you! Tohru is a stubborn, snobby girl! I do not want to date her! Nor marry her." Tenten pretended to be appalled. "Don't act like I don't know! I see all those wedding magazines under your bed!" Tenten rolled her eyes.
"Ok. So she thought about the concept a couple of times. She never took it seriously!" Neji squinted at her.
"Lies. You. Tell. Lies." Tenten once again rolled her eyes.
"You big fat butt." Neji was taken aback and speechless. I mean, what do you say when someone calls you a butt? Exactly. Neji just scowled and stormed out of the door. Tenten smiled and plopped down on her couch. Neji slammed the door open.
"You should get married." Now Tenten was speechless. She recovered quickly though. You have to be a fast thinker when you hang around with Neji.
"What now? What do you mean get married? I'm only 25!" Neji rolled his eyes and plopped down next to her.
"Exactly. Tenten you are 25." He said each word slowly as if he was speaking to a child.
"You are a big fat butt." Neji ignored her comment.
"You should get married. Or at least not be single. I'm going to get you a date." Tenten tried to maintain her laughter. And failed.
"You. You. You are Neji. You can't match me with someone." Neji rolled his eyes.
"I'm still human. I can still get you someone." Tenten chuckled. Neji was so stubborn.
"Who then?" Neji stepped toward Tenten until they were millimeter away. Tenten gulped. They were so close to each other. Too close. Tenten was going to push Neji away but some part of her made her stand still.
Oh. My, my. Tenten, you got yourself into an interesting position here.
Tenten blinked. No way. She read some of Sakura's romance novels and all the people who fell in love started to talk to themselves.
Yes. They do.
Neji inched closer until his lips were on hers. Tenten gasped. As quickly as it started, it stopped. Neji backed off smiling a goofy smile. He pecked her on the cheek and went out of her apartment. Tenten slumped onto the fireplace.
"WHAT THE HECK?"
Outside Tenten's apartment...
Neji started coughing. Neji finally got a hold on himself. He looked down on his hand. It was etched with blood. Neji sighed and wiped it on his handkerchief. He wouldn't tell Tenten yet. Not until Valentine's Day.
Later On That Day...
Tenten sighed and sat down on the white chair. Across from her Sakura had her mouth open like a goldfish.
"He what?" Tenten sighed.
"I know. Now I'm confused." Sakura nodded sympathetically. She handed Tenten a hot cup of coffee.
"Thanks." Tenten sipped the mocha slowly. Sakura smiled.
"Maybe you should bake cupcakes for him." Tenten nearly choked on her whip cream.
"What now? I just want to get an answer from him, I don't want to kill him." Sakura chuckled.
"Seriously. Read this." Sakura took a magazine out of her bag. Tenten scanned over the cover and gave it back.
"No thank you." Tenten did not want to go there. Sakura gasped and took another magazine out of her bag.
"Sorry wrong one." She took out the weapon's magazine. It had a picture of Haku on it with him holding kunai between his fingers. "It's in here. Page 34." Tenten raised her eyebrows.
"I have this issue. It has nothing about romance and that pile of spit." Sakura rolled her eyes.
"Just read it." Tenten shrugged and flipped to page 34.
Love In The Form Of A Cupcake

It seems that cupcakes have a very high potential of bringing out the truth and love out of many guys. There could be one quick way for girls to find out if their crush feels the same way about them. Just bake 7 cupcakes. Draw a blue star frosting on 3 of those cupcakes. On the other 3 cupcakes, draw a purple star them. Now, on the last remaining cupcake draw a green star. Do not draw a pink or red star. That is too obvious. Now, to get the ingredients for the cupcakes, call 1-800-GAICUPCAKES
Tenten once again raised her eyebrows. Sakura laughed heartily.
"If you keep on doing that to your eyebrows, they'll disappear. Right into your hair." Tenten sighed and threw the magazine onto Sakura.
"Are you saying I should bake and give some cupcakes to Neji?" Sakura nodded happily. "What do I get in return?"
"Neji's heart dear." Tenten actually choked on her coffee.
"Oh please. Spare me the romance spit." Sakura smiled.
"Admit it. You are curious." Tenten want to wipe that smile off Sakura's face so badly...
"Fine. I'll do it. You have to help me with the cupcakes though..." Sakura nodded happily.
"Sure." Sakura packed up her magazines and stood up with her cappuccino in her hand. "Come to my house on Wednesday." Tenten nodded reluctantly. Tenten smiled at Sakura's back. She was curious.

"This is a pile of lies." Neji threw the latest issue of Ninja in Lee's basket of cats causing them to yowl loudly. Lee hushed them and picked up the magazine.
"But Gai sensei wrote it!" Neji sighed.
"Then he's a liar!" Lee gave Neji the puppy eyes. Neji spat out his coffee.
"Do not give me that revolting face." Lee started bawling.
"My face isn't revolting!" The cats began to cry too. People were starting to stare so Neji threw a biscuit into Lee's mouth.
"How will I know this thing is true then?" Lee sniffed.
"Every girl is doing this." Neji rolled his eyes.
"Yeah sure." Just then, a young girl around the age of 18 came over to Neji's table. She handed Neji a heart shaped tray with seven cupcakes. They had the exact frosting decoration Gai described in the article.
"Neji Kun...would you take a cupcake?" Neji, knowing what the girl meant with the cupcakes and all, didn't want to make her think he was a soul mate or something so...
"Arigoto." Neji picked out a blue frosting cupcake. Lee watched as the girl's face fell. Lee plucked a green cupcake from the tray.
"Arigoto!" The girl had a major vein pop and punched Lee in the face and handed Neji the green frosting cupcake. Neji sweat dropped.
"Wouldn't like a green frosting one?" Neji felt like gagging at the girl's sickly sweet voice.
"Um...I don't really like the color green..." Lee emerged from underneath the table with a black eye.
"Maybe he would pick something if it was pink or red." The girl nodded thoughtfully and walked away. The minute the girl was gone, Neji punched Lee in the face.
"Now she thinks I'll pick the 'special' cupcake if she simply changes the color of the frosting!" Lee nodded.
"Exactly." Neji gave our dear Lee another happy black eye. Heck, he even gave Lee a nosebleed. Isn't Neji nice? Neji was in the middle of beating the spit out of Lee when he saw Tenten talking with Sakura at a table not that far away. Neji quickly ducked behind a plant. Lee ducked next to him.
"Who are you hiding from?" Neji wasn't paying attention to Lee so he said the answer bluntly.
"Tenten of course." Lee smirked.
"Why?" Neji rolled his eyes.
"I don't want her to see me?" Lee's smile grew.
"Why don't you?" Neji peeked over the plant.
"Because I kissed her today." Neji froze and finally notice what he blurted out stupidly. Lee giggled. Now, when you see a Lee giggle, you are scarred for life. Luckily, Neji wasn't looking at Lee. He was too busy blushing.
"You kissed her? So...that mean's she's going to bake a batch of cookies." Neji got even redder. If that was possible.
"N-nani?" Lee chuckled.
"Mark my words Neji, cupid's arrow will hit you soon enough." Neji sweat dropped. A fat little lady on the table next to them stared until.
"ERO SENI!" She threw her bowls at Lee and Neji. Neji dodged all of them but Lee was not training hard enough...
15 minutes later...
Neji brushed off some glass. He dragged an unconscious Lee out of the coffee shop." He didn't even notice Tenten staring at him through the window of the store as he dragged the unique ninja on the sidewalk. He did not notice how much she blushed.
But Lee and Sakura did.
