"like constellations to dust, this is the invisible photo developer of the universe."

and even though you fought fairly, you soldiers dressed in a glorious gown of starlet red
you're deeply bruised, forging letters to heal in your skin, rainfall cuts of forced out butterflies
pray with me, man, 'cause i think we need our speakers to slam the mic
and grow a pair

you waited, vaguely wishing for something you lost, until the broken mime pauses
gives you a sign that points up and makes you forget the stained glass is tainted
pray with me, miss sugar lips, 'cause i think we need to re-evaluate our dreams
and put down the trauma

and in your mind, the seasons pass by in a soft haze, preciously keeping the moments of memory
frozen in a paralytic peace...and now you can't breathe, can't speak, can't joke off that feeling
pray with me, alice, let's forget our problems
and be kids of no war

"like dust to constellations, this is the photo of the invisible developing the universe."
