Antonio's POV
I walk into Tracy's hospital room with a balloon bouquet. Tracy was playing with the remote that controlled her hospital bed. "How you feeling today?" I ask. I knew she was still scared because she was still speaking Spanish. "Yo estoy bien definitivamente no asusta" she said. "Tracy it is completely nature to be scared. I told you before everything is going to be fine." I said with a reassuring smile. "Sé a Antonio pero estás seguro de que no hay un poder de símbolo que me podía curar" she said. "Sorry angel I looked in the archives but didn't have any luck." I said. "Gracias por probarlo agradezco" she said with a smile.
The nurse came in to take her in for surgery. "No, no quiere ir por favor no llevarme" she screams in terror. I asked the nurse to wait a minute. "Tracy calm down, your going to be fine I promise." I remind her. I took a washable marker out of my pocket and took her right hand; I wrote no te preocupes ser feliz on her hand and put the marker away. She read what I wrote I saw a smile appear on her face and a look of fear was in her eyes. "Don't worry the marker was washable" I told her. Tracy had finally calmed down. The nurse took her away for surgery.
Tracy's POV
I had just woken up in the recovery room. The surgery wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. "Hey angel." Antonio greeted. "Hey, my golden knight, Why did you write don't worry be happy on my hand?" I ask. "I thought it would make you smile." He answers. "Well it worked thanks." I said. "No problem what are friends for right." He said. "I thought you were my boyfriend?" I ask. "I am" he answers quickly in a confused tone. "Antonio I knew that. I was just making sure that you still remember" I said with a huge smile on my face. Antonio kissed me on the forehead. I was about to kiss him back on the lips. I heard my mom clearing her throat. "Dang it so close" I thought to myself. "Hi mom" I said. "Hi sweetheart, when were you going to tell me that you had a new boyfriend?" She asks. "Well I…" I stammer. "Relax Sweetie, I know why you did tell us." She said in a calm tone. "You do?" I ask. "You were scared about how your father is going to react right?" She replies. I nodded.
"Sweetie, don't worry about your father. You are happy now that you found Antonio right." She asks. "Yes, I feel like the luckiest girl ever." I admit. "Then your father will be happy for you too." She reassures me. "Really?" I ask her. "Yes honey, the only thing any parent wants for their children is for them to be happy." She answers. "Anyway, I can be released soon right mom?" I ask changing the subject. "Yes, when we get home I'll make you breakfast." She said. "Can I have chocolate chip pancakes?" I ask. "Sure." she said. "Score!" I said with a big smile on my face. A few minutes later my mom signed the release forms and I was free to go. The doctor told me not to stay off my knee for the next few days.
