  Hey I think it's time for a little update to the old bio. I'm Lira. That's what I go by on the net, and that's what a decent chunk of my real-life friends are even calling me now. I'm a twenty-one year old college student studying to become a middle school English teacher. So I want to teach children, but I also want to write lots and lots of porn. I do think these two goals are compatible. I'm a huge anime and manga fan, and I read all the time. If you want to know anything else, check my LJ, although these days most anything actually about me is friendslocked. Writing-wise, I love fantasy. I just can't bear to spend very much time in a regular old modern-day setting without having something weird or fantastical going on. I typically do modern, AU, or futuristic fantasy. I'm also all about the LGBTQ characters. The majority of my protagonists do not identify as straight, and they're the type of people that I write about. This doesn't necessarily mean BEING GAY is a major plot point of the story. I haven't posted anything in a long time. I'd love to get something published some day (literary magazines anyone?) so I'm not going to post everything. But I figure I have a number of shorter bits and pieces that I could still bear to share with the big wide internets. On top of that, I've been writing a lot about the characters friends and I created together, and since publishing something where your friends devised half the characters is messy, those pieces might make it here.
