Fantastic twist at the end! I have wanted to write a Smurfs' fan fic for a little while now. What a surprising way to (sort of) run into one. I do have to admit that I felt bad about the Smurfs' dying out, being captured, turned into gold, and then used as a postion ingredient. I've loved them for years, you see. :D Anyway, this story will definitely have to go into the Favorites and become a rec.
