Locking the door behind her, Emily turned to face the hallway, scanning it for any sign of her former husband. Not finding any, she relaxed a bit and leaned back against her door. Where to go…
She hadn't wanted to involve her team but Ian had found her and she didn't know who to turn to. Her former colleagues maybe but they would probably be under surveillance as well and she needed a safe place to stay. So Hotch, Morgan, Rossi Garcia, JJ, or Reid?
Taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly, she weighed her options. Hotch and JJ had families so they were out of the question. Involving a friend was bad enough but involving children? That would be unforgivable. Outside of her lair, Garcia couldn't fight back so not her. Morgan, Rossi,or Reid?
They all cared about her and wouldn't hesitate to do everything in their power to help her. Morgan was stronger but Reid was more intelligent and there was more of a chance that he would know what to do. But then Rossi had more experience...
Sergio gave an impatient meow as if ordering her to make up her mind. With a small smile, she shook her head. It was an impossible choice. She gave a sigh and then slid her cell phone out and dialed the number.
"Prentiss?" Came Reid's excited voice after two rings. "Did you change your mind?"
"A-actually, I was wondering something." She said in a shaky tone. "Are you and Morgan by any chance still at the office?"
"Yeah; everyone except you. Why?"
"Could you gather everyone in the Conference room? I need to tell all of you something."
