A week had passed since the party and Gerard an I began to get along better. He went from being an ass to being a sweet guy. I had also begun to hang out with Bill too. I had just pulled up into the school parking lot when I saw Gerard.
" Why hello there" I said loude enough for him to hear me cause sometime that boy can't hear.
" I can hear you know. " he said smiling.
" Are you sure about that?" I asked.
" Yes. So anyways there is a reason that I am waiting for you. "
" Okay well tell me." I said as I poked him.
" Well you know how there's a dance coming up?" I nodded. " Well I was wondering if you wanted to be my date. " I stood there completely still for a moment and thought about what he had just asked. Hmmmm....
" Ummmm.... Sure. " I said smiling.
" Okay pick you up at seven. " He winked at me.
" Okay. " I said as we walked towards the doors to enter school.
I walked to hoomroom and sat down next to Brendon.
"Hey are you going to the dance on Friday?" I asked.
" Ummm... I don't know yet I don't have a date yet what about you?" he asked.
" Well now that you asked I do have a date to go with. He asked me this morning. "
" Oh who is it?"
" Gerard. " I said smiling like an idiot at the thought of him taking me to the dance of Friday.
" Oh. Well that's great for you. " he said quitely. He didn't really talk to me for the rest of the period. He kinda kept to him self. Was he mad at me?
