You've been a very bad boy, Frankie....
Well, I'm quite angry, because I'll be going to band camp for all next week, and the week after that. (What a "lovely" way to end a summer, right? NO.)
As for the political opinions in this chapter, Frankie hates Glen Beck, and voted for Obama in the 2008 election. :)
When I mentioned that we only had little more than a week left together, he stopped smiling. He looked away. This must've really made him sad. I saw a tear roll down his cheek, and he started to quietly sob.
"Gee?" I asked. "What's wrong?"
He turned to look at me. He wiped the tears off of his face. "I love you too much to let you go. I don't want this to end. You're my world, Frankie..." he started to cry again. I never thought I would see him cry. It was so.... Not-Gerard. So I did something to make him stop.
I leaned in, and I kissed him.
He pulled me closer, and I knew what he was trying to do. I pulled away. "No, Gee." I said. "Not here. We're at RAY'S. Not your house." I laughed, and he rolled his eyes.
"Oh, fine." he said. "But you owe me. In fact, I think I might hold you prisoner at my house tonight...." he smiled.
"I have no problem with that." I said. We both started to laugh.
Mikey walked back into the room, Ray trailing behind him. There was a look on Mikey's face. He looked sick to his stomach. As for Ray, he was pale white.
They were eavesdropping.
"Sorry." I said. Mikey nodded and Ray held up a hand. If we had known that they were listening, I'm sure Gee would've left out the part about taking me prisoner.
Ray turned on TV again, and he started to flip through the channels. Mikey threw something at him, causing him to accidentally stop at a channel.
To make matters worse, Glen Beck was on.
"HOLY MOTHER OF FUCK! GET THIS SHIT OFF OF YOUR TV!" I yelled at Ray. They all stared at me, and Mikey raised an eyebrow. "Sorry guys. You know how much I hate Glen Beck."
We all started to laugh.
Gerard and I left Ray's about and hour or so later.
We went to his house.
We were sitting on the couch watching Titanic. Figures.
It had us both in tears. It took until the end of the movie for me to realize that I was in his lap with his arms wrapped around me.
I liked it.
He looked at me. "Frankie," he whispered in my ear. "You've been a very bad boy, making me cry like that earlier. I think it's time for your punishment." he smirked.
We both stood up, and he grabbed my hand, and pulled me upstairs.
Oh dear god.
