3 months later
I was stood by myself in a large dressing room, with my back turned to a full length mirror. I had just been completely dressed up by a group of stylists and make up artists. My hands were shaking from nerves and I squeezed my eyes shut, taking in a deep breath. I turned around to face the mirror and when I opened my eyes I gasped at the girl in front of me.

A long white gown covered most of her slim figure, but the strapless design left her arms and shoulders bare. The bodice of the dress fitted her tightly, showing off her thin shape. The white dress floated down, the bottom of the long skirt lay on the floor. Her hair had been recently redyed to a shiny brownish red shade. It had been styled so that it lay in waves that stopped a bit below her shoulders. Her makeup was minimal, but she still looked beautiful. Her green eyes glistened back at me and I couldn't believe that this girl was me.

The door then opened and Elen stepped in, wearing a long deep red dress. Her brown hair was up in a complicated knot with a red flower pinning it in place. We had grown so close in the past 3 months, it was like we had been best friends for years. She gasped when I turned to her.

"Devon," she smiled. "You look beautiful."

"Thank you" I grinned back at her, as she walked over to me, pulling me into a hug.

"How are you feeling?" She asked.

"To be honest I'm really nervous" I said chewing my lip.

She giggled. "That's natural. I felt exactly the same when I married Phil. Once you get down that aisle the nerves will just disappear."

"I sure hope so." My hands were still shaking. I twisted the diamond ring around my finger to try and calm me down. Elen handed me a small bouquet of red roses, holding the flowers calmed down my hands but I was still nervous. Elen hugged me again.

"You will be fine." She said. "I'm just going to see how the best man and groom are getting on, then we should be able to start." I didn't want to be alone but I nodded and she gave my hand a reassuring squeeze.

"Elen?" I called her back just as she opened the door to leave.

"Yeah."

"I'm really glad you said yes to being my maid of honour. It meant a lot to me."

She smiled back at me. "I'm just flattered that you chose me. Stop worrying, your wedding will be perfect as long as your with the man you love."

She winked at me and left, closing the door behind her. My only company was once again the girl in the mirror.

Elen's POV
I walked down the corridor of the Phan mansion and thought about how the wedding would go down. Everything had been planned so well that there was no way anything could possibly go wrong. Unless nerves got the better of Dan or Devon. I wondered if Phil was as stressed as they were on the day of our wedding. I know that I was practically going out of my mind with worry. What helped me through it was one look from Phil's blue eyes as I walked down the aisle. I reached Phil and Dan's dressing room and knocked on the door.

"You both decent?" I called out to them.

Phil's voice answered. "Yeah, come in."

Phil was sitting on a small sofa in his black suit and tie. He looked up at me and his jaw dropped slightly, before his lips curved into a one sided smile.

"You look beautiful" he said

"You don't look half bad yourself" I grinned. I gave him a quick kiss on the lips before turning to the groom.

"Don't I look good as well?" He laughed but his voice was shaky. I walked up to Dan and straightened his crooked bow tie.

"How's Devon?"

"Nervous, wait til you see her though. She looks beautiful."

Dan looked down. "She always does".

I sat on the couch next to Phil but he pulled me up onto his lap, making me giggle. He wrapped his arms around me and I bent my head down to press our lips together. I let one hand rest on his cheek and his arms tightened my waist.

"Excuse me?" Dan yelled. "What are you playing at?"

"Don't worry Dan, you and Devon will get a chance to do the same once you're on your honeymoon." Phil said but his eyes remained on me.

"Oh where is your honeymoon going to be?" I asked.

"We're going to go to Rome, but don't tell Devon yet, I want it to be a surprise."

"Ok, I had better get back to her now. The wedding will be starting soon." Dan ran his hand through his hair and started to pace the floor. "Hey, its all going to be fine." I tried to stand up but Phil's arms stayed locked around my waist. "Phil?"

"Yes, beautiful?" He said, he was so adorable I almost didn't want to leave.

"I need to go now" Phil groaned and hugged me closer to him. "Hey let go." I giggled, playfully hitting him.

Finally able to move I climbed off Phil's lap and smoothed my dress down with my hands. I gave Phil a kiss on the forehead, hugged Dan and left the room. The wedding was about to begin.
