SUMMARY: FRERARD(sequel to"The man of my nightmares"): Frank has always devoted his life to slaying vampires. Or so he thinks. What happens when he meets his enemy, Gerard Way? Will he remember his former life? Read to find out
(Btwguys this is set 8 months after the evil thing Frank's father did. Have fun reading. Authors note on the bottom.)
I was running in the woods. My face showed only fear. My legs wanted to give out, but my mind screamed for them not to. Usually the vampires I was assigned to never stood up to me, until I met this specific one. At first he was calm and collected about me killing him, but then his eyes started to glow a bright red and I knew I had to haul ass.
My heart felt like it was gonna come straight out my chest. I felt like I'd been running for ten miles. It wasn't a pleasant feeling. My legs came to a complete halt, making me stumble a little. I looked back to see if the vampire caught up with me, he didn't. I then sat on the leafy ground taking a break before I went back to the agency building.
I jumped to the sudden noise of a twig snapping. My mind was going crazy with ideas of what it was. I turned my head from where it came from. I saw nothing but more trees. My body relaxed.
"I wouldn't stop running if I were." A deep voice said. Oh no, I'm fucked. I didn't dare turn around for the fear of seeing those scary eyes.
"I'll give you a deal. You let me go and I'll just tell the agency I killed you. That way you can roam freely without being observed every minute." I said shakily. I could feel the vampire smirk. I didn't even have to see his face to realize it. I usually didn't give in so easily. It's just that this vampire was one of the top most dangerous. I told my dad I wasn't ready for high status vampires, but he said he had faith in me so I accepted the challenge.
"Ok. Fine. You can go, but do me a favor and turn around so I can see your beautiful face before you leave." I reluctantly obeyed, stood up, and turned my body to look at the vampire directly. His face was beautiful, I'll admit. But the way he made himself stay alive wasn't so pretty at all. In the blink of my eyes he stood right before me with a toothy smile.
"You're a very beautiful man. I'm surprised no one has courted you yet. Then again courting someone is so "old school" as you kids put it these days. What's it called now......ummmm......ah yes date. I'm surprised no one is dating you. You have very beautiful hazel eyes that combine just perfectly with that tan skin of yours. Oh I'm sorry am I getting too out of hand?" The vampire had his hand on my cheek. Although I wanted to get away from his touch so bad I couldn't. His gaze has me hypnotized. Not in a romantic way but in an evil way. He had me paralyzed and there's nothing I could do about it. Not even scream.
He started to give kisses to my cheek. Making his way to my neck. I felt a sudden sting. He was nibbling on my skin and it felt horrible. I wanted to get away from him and run.
Before I could even have anymore thoughts, he sank his teeth in my skin. That's when I broke out of the trance and screamed in pain. He was in the process of sucking my blood. I had to stop screaming and sneakily grab the stake in my left pocket. Once I got the stake I jabbed it into his heart and pushed him as hard as I could.
He fell to the ground with a vacant expression. It was obvious that the man was trying to form words. I couldn't hear what he was trying to say. The venom was already running through my veins. I started to feel dizzy and instead of hearing the crickets of the night I heard the noise of a t.v with no signal. I tried to stay up but I failed and fell right next to the vampire with the side of my face in the dirt. He turned his head to me with blood coming from the corner of his mouth. I was certain he was telling me something but I couldn't hear. His eyes closed slowly and it was then that I knew he died.
My vision became blurry and right when other slayers came for help I blacked out.
"Frank!!! Wake the hell up!!!!" My eyes opened widely. A man that I recognized as Robin was looking at me with a concerned look.
"I was dreaming about the incident wasn't I?" I said uneasily. He nodded with a frown. That night I turned into a vampire became a moment that relived in my sleep. I wasn't the first slayer to turn into a vampire. Though I was the first one that didn't commit suicide because of the hate of being a blood sucker. I honestly thought it was pretty cool. Even if I was forever 17 I still didn't care. I had more speed which meant I could catch up to the vampires I hunted. So being a slayer and a vampire had its benefits.
"I woke you up to tell you that your father wanted to talk about the mission your gonna be taking. Remember that it's all the way in Italy so we have to plan." Robin said sternly. Sometimes he felt like another dad to me. But that would be weird since we are in a relationship. I got up from my bunk and kissed his cheek.
"Tell my dad to give the job to Tony. I don't want to be so far away from you." He smiled at me and pecked me on the lips.
"Don't worry, babe. It'll only be for one week. Now go talk to your dad before he gets after me." He shoved me to the door. I stuck my tongue at him.
"You are so mean. But I guess I have to talk to him. Love you, babe." I waved him goodbye.
"Love you too. Don't give your dad a hard time." I turned and walked to his office. I knocked on the door and was told to come in. His office was huge and had its own screen to check up on the vampires. It looked like a movie theater without the chairs.
"There's my boy. Did you sleep well, son?" He asked with a smile.
"Sure did. So what you wanna talk about?" I sat on his desk and waited for him to tell me the details.
"Well as you know the company has been doing good lately especially since we joined forces with Europe's side of the slayer world. But I need you to check up on the progress they're making. I feel very uneasy about their notifications saying everything is fine. But there is one thing that I don't think you'll like." My dad frowned and looked at the ground.
"What is it?" I was suddenly filled with concern.
"The one person you hate will be in Italy to see how his clan is doing." He said darkly. Oh shit.
"Gerard Way will be there? Dad you know how much I hate that guy. Especially because of the way he murdered so many people. Dad that man has no heart. Sending me to Italy at the same time he's checking up on his clan is like you're begging me to kill him. And. I swear I'll do it if he doesn't keep his distance from the agency." My hands started to shake with fury. I hated him with a passion.
"Calm down, son. I need you to just go for a week and then come back. Easy as pie. Forget about that man for the time you're in Europe and think about work." My dad looked at me in the eyes and I knew I had to trust him. So I nodded and he smiled. "That's my boy. Now go pack up you're leaving this afternoon."
I left my father's office without a word and went to my dorm.
Italy.........here I come.
