~ Senka's pov ~
I sighed as another board fell, further lessening the privacy between Isa's and my rooms. How does dad think I can finish my book with all that noise?! Something caught my eye and i picked it up. Isa walked to my desk as dad continued to beat the to little pieces. " I-is that a GRUB?! " I smiled at the small, fat, invertebrate wriggling on my hand. " Heh. Aren't we a haughty xylophagous thingy? " " Uhh...? " " He came from the wall. " She still had a confused look. " Xylophagous refers to a wood eating animal. " " Oh... " She looked at the grub in sheer disgust, soon turning to give me the same look. " You know you're gonna have to paint over these black walls. " What? " She rolled her eyes. " My room is PINK and i'm NOT makeing my room black when they get connected. " " I don't want a pink room. " She sneered. " Yeah? Well I'M the older sister...so it looks like I WIN. " " NO. I'm younger so i'm more important. " We both glared at each other. " Santa! " " Daddy! " We both ran to dad. " Daddy! I don't wanna BlACK room!! " " Well, I don't want a PINK room!! " " I'm older! " " I'm younger! " " I'm cuter! " " I'm smarter! " Dad held us back from eachother. " Alright, listen! Half the room can be black the other half can be pink! Okay? " " Whatever... " " I'm going to Joe's. " Dad sighed. " Be back before dark. " " Okay. " I held his hand and started to walk away. Helooked at what i put in his hand and squeeked when he saw the grub. As i walked outside the air was muggy from the inpending rain and the street seemed to glisten, while i walked down it. I smiled as Joe's peirceings and tattoos came into veiw. The bells jingled merrily when i entered. " Well-oh, what up mundane? " " Not much Bic, where's Joe? " He shrugged. " Don't know where gandpap went...probably buying boze. " " Fine, i'll just buy some new belly-button rings then. " I started looking at the spinable display. " What? Don't you trust me to give you a good peirce? " I didn't miss a beat. " Hell no. " I saw him slump over the counter out of the corner of my eye. " Quit being such a baby Bic. " " Aw, shush up. " " The bells jingling, caught both of our attions. " Welcome to Joe's! What might you be looking for sir? " " You sound like a butt-kiss. " " HEY?! " I shrugged. " I calls 'em likes i sees 'em. " I felt strage waves comeing from the new guy so, I glanced over at the him. His eyes were fixated on me. " Looking is free...anything elese is gonna cost you. " His eyebrow raised and he got a deep frown. " I just wanted to ask you a question. " I turned back to the display. " Shoot. " " Should I get my tounge peirced or my lip? " I snorted. " Don't do it. " This girl is EVIL. " I turned the display rack. " I have no idea what you're talking about. " " SURE you don't. " I pointed at one of the belly-button rings with wings and a heart. " AH! I want that one. How much is it? " " $5.45 " I handed him the money and he gave me the ring. " Oh, wow. It's sooo pretty. " I smiled a Bic. " Heh. I gotta go home. see ya! " " Bye. " Yeah. Witch is the hamburger pizza? " The door-bell rang. " I'll get it. " I ran up to the door and opened it with a smile. " Hello! " It was the guy from the store. " Umm? " " Do you know a Senka Smith? " " That's me. " " Realy? " " Yeah. " " Okay. " My head started to feel fuzzy. " W-what are you doing here? " " Takeing you home. " " Wha-? " It was to late to finish, I was already passed out.
