Solid chapter. I like the forgotten bureaucracy. I'll be interested to see how that plays out. Harry and Hermione's relationship seems to be growing, I like how she keeps him grounded.
As always, it was an enthralling read and left me wanting more.

The sniper idea is in part a tribute to a fun author's fun story, and in part a trap door, planted in case it comes in handy later. If I don't actually use it in this story, I might in a later one.
