Heh, your Dumbledore is even dumber than mine. I like it.
There's a funny feel to this story. Harry and Luna feels like real people, surrounded by cardboard figures. Hermione did gain some depth in this chapter, but the pair really stands out. Impressive.

Yes, that is a problem. I wanted to write a darker Harry doing what he had to in order to win.
I like humor, and it snuck in; especially around Dumbledore and Mr. Lovegood. I hope this doesn't turn people off when it gets a little darker later.
