interesting, i aggree with mathias about hermione createing a horocrux thus ensureing harry would make one.
or something along the lines of hermione will be tied directly to harry's life or his soul or something like that, thus ensureing they both live as long as eachother, thus if harry is to join the brotherhood then that effectivley makes hermione imortal as long as harry stays around
