Again, I like this brief drabble for exploring Wakka's point of view. He's such an amiable pushover in the game. I am glad you let him be a little more fesity here.
My one criticism is that the last line reads a bit oddly. It almost sounds like Wakka is asking this question to himself or that the point of view has suddenly shifted to Lulu at the end. I suggest "Do you even say 'I told you so' to yourself?"
As always though, that's just my opinion.
