I like your more observant and aware Harry. He seems to have a stronger appreciation for learning than he did in canon, along with a much stronger drive to excel in school (I suspect Vernon will never realize just how big a favor putting Dudley in a different class really was - he'd likely fill his underwear if he knew).

I am glad that you like it. This Harry is more interested in learning because, while in canon he has chores and such to do, I'm going toward the Dursley's being more out of sight out of mind and they banish him from the house during the day time. So he spends all that time in the library to avoid Dudley.
