Hermione Granger and the Very Blue Morning

To me, the trumfs had me thinking of a sort of English version of the Nac Mac Feegle, back in the days of Carpe Jugulem, when they were written more as 'blue' than 'look blue to bigjobs because they've so many tattoos'.
Author's response
Interesting.
I think of the Nac Mac Feegle as being much smarter and more worthwhile than trumfs, which are sort of like orcs only smaller and much less bright, but I only know the Nac Mac Feegle from the later books.
