Alright. Before I go ranting on how incredible this last chapter was, it's quote time!
"Every hair curled, every cheek blushed, every tooth bright. Every bone in place, every contusion hidden, every wound sealed."
I thought that was amazing. :]
As well as:
"Bathed and dressed in a gown that would make Cinderella rage with envy, the not so blushing bride sat with her head upon her dapper groom's shoulder, just like old times."
and:
"But with their bands squeezing the decaying and distended flesh of their ring fingers, they lay eternally in one another's hold in a bed they call their own."
Those were beautiful quotes and I absolutely adore how you place words together to form lovely and twisted metaphors.
My mouth was totally agape reading this final (tear) chapter. I loved all of this and this story was truly amazing and far more adjectives that will never describle how incredible this actually was.
This chapter was so sad, so very, very sad and I wish I could explain my thoughts, but right now, I am too stunned by the awesome-ness of this to even think.
And the ending? It made me speechless [which is really hard to do, considering I always have something to say]
I mean, this story was dark, twisted, lovely, beautiful, sick, insane, creative, and so many more words. :]
You are a fantastic writer and I surely hope you write more soon. I'm sure, whatever you write, it'll be just as great. If not, even better.
