I rather like this story, you are rather correct to assume the interaction with the Weasley's was seemingly under explored, they should of tried to scold him for his actions and act in a manner which would cause Harry to move away from them.
The Fleur scene flowed better with the story, and it was different from other stories I've read and I can only suggest that you start moving away from the cliches soon (i.e. Head of millions of families).
