Realism: Breaking Clichés

(#) Euphemism 2008-09-21

Parseltongue as a language never bothered me. In fact, lots of oddities don't bother me - the people of the wizarding world aren't quite rational, and the magic isn't quite rational, so plot points don't have to be rational.

Note: The Giant Squid in the previous chapter was obviously a magical giant squid that could survive in both fresh and saltwater.

One cliche to consider: Goblins will be extraordinarily nice to you if you bother to remember their name. Although that cliche has been tackled. Repeatedly. Into the ground.
