Most of all I like the imagery in the first and last sections. I can really see it and that's pretty awesome.
It's amusing because in the game it was stated that Seifer had failed to pass the SeeD exam several times. I never really understood why he was the squad leader besides the fact he'd been through a few exams before. However, I never really thought about the consequences. This kind of puts it in perspective in some ways.
I'm in a bit of a rush. I started reading this when I didn't have much time to, so I'll return to keep reading later and leave more of my thoughts. This seems like it's a really creative story.
