Only the eventual multi-pairing can possibly keep Luna's idea from being utterly atrocious. Too much baggage for Harry to handle being with Hermione otherwise. Even as things are he'll have trouble accepting it.
Very good update. I especially liked Harry getting knocked out the Muggle way. It's a nice reminder of what's in store for him when the summer ends.
