Review for And the journey begins...

And the journey begins...

Ok wow. And when i said I didn't know if I'd understand, I was wrong. Actually, I'm probably one of the people who gets this story the MOST, since I recognise far to much the Wilfred Owen referance.
what is HSC I might ask?
I'm currently studing English Literature A-Level, which is how I came across Wilfred Owen.

But overall, I have to say I love it. You've captured your characters so well, and the minuteist of details are so well written they really give shape to to piece.
Hopefully I would like to read more of your work, if you would post it, but right now (irony coming up!) I actually have to go, my class is just about to leave on a trip for English, we are going to see All Quiet On The Western Front. Irony, after just reading this!

Author's response

Hey =]
Thank-you so much for your review, it made me really happy to see that someone can recognize my influences (Wilfred Owen) and be able to appreciate the story.
I live in Australia and over here we have a thing called that HSC (Higher School Certificate) it is basically the tests at the end of year 12 to determine your score to get into university.
This review couldn't have come at a better time. i have been tossing up weather to use it or not for my creative writing piece of my exam or not and your comment made me think that i am going to use it. Which is just in time because this time tomorrow i will be sitting down to do this exam and re-write this exact story.
I cant thank you enough for your comment it really gave me confidence in my writing. (since this is one of my first stories as i used to write poems to get my through hard times i was experiencing)
Please keep in touch.
