Re your note at the end - knowing it's personal gives it an extra edge, certainly, but what really carries it is how phenomenally well written and moving it is. It may be that way because it's obviously from the heart and experience But if we didn't know how real it was, I don't think it would make a difference - it's too good to not be deserving of such high praise. Brilliant, in fact :) Allow yourself to believe that, because it's true.
