I really enjoyed this story and usually I have a hard time reading Kingdom Hearts fic because the authors make the characters too old. But I think you've written them quite well at their age level. Also you've written them believably into a school environment, we never get to see it in the game but we know it's there. I really enjoy the little traits you have given to the characters in this environment. I cherish the idea of Fujin intercepting a note flung by Hayner and the idea that she doesn't tell on him, but instead prissily corrects his poetry. I love the way that Hayner is so astonished that Fujin can write more than one or two words together. I'm also amused by the reaction of Olette to Hayneer's teasing about Language Arts. I think you've done an admirable and adorable job of writing these characters. I especially enjoy the way that Hayner so clearly misses the rest of the teacher's lecture on how to appropriately write haikus and reads his rather unorthodox one about Fujin to the class. She must have been mortified.
