That was remarkably and beautifully written. I could see it. You have a gorgeous play of words. And I hate to be that guy that doesn't get it,but I didn't quite understand how it ended. I'm sure it was right there. Maybe that was the point,but could you explain?

Gerard was too late in realising Frank's love for him, so when Gerard finally did get it and loved him more than anything, it still wasn't enough because he was too late. Frank had already given him everything, so when Gerard had finally come to the point of loving Frank in return, Frank no longer had anything to give, which is why he apologised. Thank you. (:
