I really like Karina. I know Harry's thing with her is temporary, and that he's rapidly developing strong feelings for Luna, but I still dig the status quo.

Again, I am happy with the way the game came off. Sounds loads better than flying around on a broom. Originally, the tournament was going to be in this one, with people getting banished into the wards and bouncing back into the court, like one giant hockey body check. However the chapter was getting long and I decided to put that in next chapter after I guage the reaction everyone has to this sport.
As for Karina, hopefully she has escaped being a Mary Sue. She's a sackbuddy for now and they are both openly admitting that they are using each other for now. One of the things that usually drives me up the wall, is when author's have Harry go into 'woe is me' mode. In this one, he glosses over his upbringing and simply says 'yeah it was bad, but I am trying to put it in the past.' This doesn't affect his inner monologue about how people are screwing with him right now, nor change some of his snarky comments to Bill.
Next chapter may actually introduce Hack the troll.
