Heh, quite a poignant and enjoyable chapter. It should be interesting to see how the experiences, on all sides, of that break-up influence future developments. Meanwhile, I'm rather looking forward to seeing how he does at Starfleet Academy, who he'll meet, and what challenges, other than the curriculum, he'll face.
I thought the bit with Steve and his friends was amusing, some people just don't learn to leave others alone. Somehow, I suspect those who gifted Harry with that weapon would be most amused if they knew of the event.

Oh yeah, the Kingons would be laughing their asses off at the incident. then they would be telling Harry how to do it better in case it happened again.
As for the Breakup, while I have a few ideas on if it influences further events and what they might be, they are still tentative and may not be included in the fic at all. The ideas I have don't necessarily advance the fic, they do add an interesting undertone, should I use them.
