Heh, a very nicely done chapter and mild-cliffie at the end. I did love the way they gave a proper briefing to Starfleet Command in the person of JIm Kirk. I suspect that personnel may have fun trying to find a way to identify others who share this ability.
I rather figured Jim Kirk rushing off was to do with V'Ger. It should be rather interesting to see what Harry and Hui were doing during this time and what, if any, effect they had on what happened or how what happened may have affected what they are investigating.
