A bit slow to start but it has potential. One question, if Dumbledore now knows for sure that Harry is being abused why isn't he doing something to prevent it? Even if Harry has to stay at the Dursley's a spell on Vernon to stop the violence or one on Harry to protect him should work, if nothing else a third party staying there could deter the Dursley and yet allow the bloodwards to work. To me this always shows Dumbledore at his worst, a total lack of empathy and humanity, and why would Harry want to fight for a world that knowingly lets this happen to him?
